Air Quality Index

We closely monitor our air quality during fire season. Lake County Office of Education placed an air quality sensor at the Middle School site that the public can view. Go to www.purpleair.com. We also use the Lake County Schools Air Quality Guidelines to respond to poor air quality. Those guidelines can be found on the Air Quality Index. Students and staff will continue to make adjustments based on the Air Quality Index (AQI). When the AQI is above 200 - Very Unhealthy - we will avoid all physical activity outdoors and we will move lunch and waiting for afternoon pick-up/buses indoors.
